Caroline "Caro" DeCoste

Caro is a 2nd-year masters student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at William James College. They received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a concentration in Neuroscience. Caro's clinical interests center on understanding identity development, coping strategies, and the influence of family and peer relationships on mental health in children and adolescents. Committed to advocating for equitable access to care, Caro is exploring trauma-informed and culturally competent approaches to enhance treatment outcomes and support resilience, particularly among LQBTQIA+ youth.
