Delora M. Sutton, R-DMT, LMHC
Registered Dance/Movement Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Delora Sutton is a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor, with over 10 years of experience working in mental health. She is currently a fourth-year student at William James College, currently pursuing a doctorate degree in clinical psychology with interests in forensic psychology and African and Caribbean Mental Health. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Pre-Dance Therapy from Meredith College in 2009, followed by a master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy & Counseling from Antioch University New England in 2012. She also holds a master’s degree in professional psychology from William James College.
Delora’s clinical interests focus on conducting psychological assessments and forensic evaluations in underserved communities. Additionally, Delora is a believer and incorporates Christianity and mental health into her work. She specializes in integrating Biblical principles along with Dance/Movement Therapy, to provide a faith-based framework for healing. Through prayer, reflective conversation, or movement, she helps clients reconnect with their faith and bodies, release trauma, and discover their inner strength.
