Katherine Gomez​, M.A.​
  Doctoral Student in Clinical Psychology | Advanced Practicum II

Katherine Gomez (she/her/ella) is an intern at Hazel Approach Psych Services. At the heart of Katherine’s work is a deep commitment to listening with care and compassion. She understands that our stories are shaped not only by personal experiences but also by the larger systems and relationships around us. Believing that healing happens in connection, Katherine strives to create a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported. She is passionate about walking alongside people as they navigate trauma, identity, and life’s many transitions. With warmth and curiosity, Katherine welcomes individuals, offering a space where growth and healing can unfold at a comfortable pace.

Katherine holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Victimology from Stockton University. She completed a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at George Washington University. Katherine now pursues her doctoral studies in Clinical Psychology at William James College. Katherine has four years of experience in the mental health field. She weaves together humanistic, relational, cultural, mindfulness, and trauma-informed practices to gently support clients in understanding old patterns and finding new ways forward.

Katherine is fluent in English and Spanish.
